GinaGina is absolutely adorable. She goes by her nicknames, Wiggle Butt, and Little Monkey girl. She has a pushed-up nose and a very prominent underbite; sometimes tucking her upper lip into her bottom lip, showing off her bottom pearly whites. She is mostly black with some white on her chest, her chin, and the tips of her toes and tail. Gina is a boxer mix weighing about 56 pounds and could add another 5 pounds at a healthier weight. At the shelter, where Posh Pets rescued her from, staff thought she was about 4 years old, but now, as she gaining weight and settling into a home environment, she is more like 2 or 3 years old. Gina loves to play with toys, dogs and balls and LOVES meeting just about everyone. Although, she has a medium amount of puppy energy, she also has an incredibly sweet personality, where she’ll curl up next to you, calmly lay down, look at you adoringly, and give you sweet kisses. She also LOVES belly rubs. In fact, I’ve seen Gina turn up her belly to more than a few people on the street.
Gina is also very smart. She is a quick learner, listens very well, loyal, and one of the most obedient dogs I know. She knows how to lay down, shake, and stay with hand signals. Gina is an overall happy girl quick to give adoring looks. She’s a very easy going dog and is house-trained. Currently, she’s walked 3 times per day and eats twice a day. She’s still in training learning about good habits and boundaries and she’s learning at lightening speed.
Gina is very much ready for a forever home were she can love a family for the rest of her young life. She will no doubt make someone very happy with her loving affectionate and playful personality. She needs her exercise as a young dog, is ready to learn, and with a good family, she will be the flourish into the incredible dog she’s meant to be.
