Is your newly adopted dog in need of some training?

To help you get started on the right foot, Instinct Dog Behavior & Training offers a complimentary private behavior consultation* (45-90 minutes) to anyone who adopts a dog through Posh Pets Rescue. Instinct trainers will evaluate your dog, discuss your goals for training and also offer tips and advice for solving behavior issues.

Instinct Dog Behavior & Training (www.instinctdogtraining.com) is a Manhattan-based training company whose mission is to help dogs live safe, happy lives by keeping them in homes and out of shelters. By giving owners the tools to effectively communicate with and rehabilitate their dogs, we hope to reduce the needless relinquishment of dogs into city shelters because of solvable behavior problems.

Instinct is owned by Sarah Fraser & Brian Burton, Certified Professional Trainers and graduates of the internationally recognized National K-9 School for Dog Trainers. They are the proud owners of two rehabilitated rescue dogs, Buster, a 5 year old Pit mix from NYC AC&C, and Sammy, a 9 month old beagle/Chihuahua mix from Posh Pets Rescue, who act as Instinct Training Assistance Dogs to aid in the training and rehabilitation of other dogs.
